How it works and what data we collect
As a trading analytic platform, FixyTrade needs to have access to some of your data. It’s impossible to use a trading app that can’t access your trading account. We use your personal data only when it’s absolutely necessary to make FixyTrade work as you expect.
Here are the cases when FixyTrade needs to use your data:

Check and sync trades
FixyTrade needs to check and sync trades from your trading account. Otherwise, you won’t be able to analyze in the app. This is how every trading analytic app works.
For services like FXCM or IG, we store an application-specific token. This means that we don’t have your actual password. You can revoke this access token at any moment from your trading account on the web. For example, if you’re a FXCM user, you can do it. For services like XTB, this access token is your customer account login and password. You can also create an app-specific password to connect your account to FixyTrade.
All connections to our servers are protected. The servers' databases are encrypted, and to make things even more secure we additionally encrypt your password in the database.
We’re on a mission to build the most powerful trading analytic app out there, and this absolutely requires the server-based features which our users love.
Where are FixyTrade’s servers located? Are they safe?
To make everything as safe as possible, we don’t use our own servers. Instead, we rely on Hetzner Cloud service, one of the most secure solutions available in the industry. Leading tech companies also use Hetzner Cloud to process user data.
Our cloud infrastructure is hosted by Hetzner in Germany, which is fully ISO 27001 certified. Hetzner Cloud service is also covered by EU Privacy Shield and is therefore compliant with the EU GDPR.
